Proplug recently tied up a strategic partnership with the north American company EST Group, world reknown for the manufacture of isolation and testing tools. Proplug will handle sales and distribution for purchase or hire throughout Europe.
Proplug recently completed a contract to supply quick-connect pipe clamps. Over 120 were used to aid recovery of oil from the hull of a sunken tanker. The connectors were designed, manufactured and tested to 20 bar Dp and delivered within two weeks of order.
Proplug is delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Cockerill as General Manager for the Proplug business. Tony brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of working in the oil and gas industry and recently spent two years working in Norway. Tony has a solid track record in the supply of pipeline isolation tools in the UK and overseas.
Proplug has entered into a joint venture agreement with Expansion Seal Technologies of the USA. Proplug is now the sole outlet for EST equipment on a hire or sales basis in the UK.
