Every pig from Propipe is designed to meet specific requirements of the pipeline. Propipe has extensive world-wide experience in the use of dual and multi-diameter pigs. As well as common sizes such as 8” x 10” and 10” x 14”, Propipe has designed pigs that work in size ranges such as 26” to 20” and 22” to 18”. Designs have been developed, factory-tested and field-proven in some of the most difficult applications known for pigs.
Propipe has supplied products for a number of significant projects. Below is a brief list of some of these multi diameter projects. In most cases the multi-diameter label is applied where differences in wall thickness create a change in ID of 50mm or more.
