- Tethered piggable plugs. Installed via a pigging medium, positioned either by volumetric calculations, transponders or non-intrusive signallers. Set and monitored via umbilical hoses, these can be pigged back the way they came in, or pigged to the opposite end of the pipeline.
- "Free Swimming" intelligent plugs. Using the tried and tested technology of through pipe wall communication, Proplug is able to offer fully remote pipeline isolation tools on a project specific basis.
