Magnets are used for collection of ferrous debris and also for signalling with the Trident S3000 Pig Sig

Grade 35 is a magnet material based on Neodymium Rare Earth Metal with typical characteristics as detailed below. Magnets supplied are manufactured in this grade and are supplied zinc-coated to prevent oxidisation. Propipe do not use any other magnet.
Typical Pig Mounting
Magnets are housed within a nylon case and protected by a stainless steel cover plate, which is secured using Nyloc nuts
